Introduced at the turn of the millennium, the Aero 8 represented a milestone in the history of Morgan Motor Company. As the first completely new Morgan model developed in decades, it combined the marque’s traditional British craftsmanship with modern aluminum chassis technology and powerful BMW engineering. Today, the first series is regarded as the most sought-after and characterful version of the Aero 8, enjoying an outstanding reputation among enthusiasts and collectors alike.
The car is powered by BMW’s renowned 4.4-litre V8 engine, which laid the foundation for the partnership between Morgan and BMW that continues to this day, now spanning more than 25 years. Power is transmitted through a 6-speed manual gearbox, perfectly complementing the direct and unfiltered driving experience that defines this exceptional roadster.
Finished in Morgan Solid Black, the car sits on 18-inch O.Z. alloy wheels, refinished in black and featuring distinctive centre-lock hubs. The black mohair soft top complements the exterior colour scheme perfectly.
The interior is predominantly finished in black. Premium Muirhead leather upholstery covers the seats, door panels and transmission tunnel, while black carpeting in the footwells and rear luggage shelf creates a timeless and elegant atmosphere. Dark walnut wood trim provides a tasteful contrast, complemented by an engine-turned aluminium dashboard and centre console.
Equipment includes cruise control, electric windows and a heated windscreen. For enhanced long-distance comfort, the car is also fitted with air conditioning, a radio and a practical map pocket on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel.
Particularly noteworthy is this vehicle’s history. The Aero 8 was originally ordered and delivered through our dealership and has remained with its first owner ever since. A comprehensive service, including a new set of tyres, has recently been carried out by our workshop. The vehicle is technically up to date and ready for immediate use.
